We are delighted to announce that farmersreview.co.uk has gone live. It has been a long journey to try and collate such a wealth of information and display in a user friendly manner. We have aimed to collate objective information from the trialling bodies, subjective data from the breeders as well as the growing experiences from the farmers and BASIS qualified members. We hope that this will give you sufficient information to make informed judgements on the products you use throughout the year. One of the key benefits to the site is that you are also able to communicate directly with the breeders to ask any technical questions on the varieties that you have or are going to drill.
As long as the information and reviews continues to be accurate, independent and constant, we will gain a significant data bank very quickly which will benefit the farming community immeasurably, though we all have an obligation as users to write our own findings on the products featured on the site.
We hope you enjoy the new site, it currently features wheat, barley, oilseed rape and a host of other combinable crops though will look to feature agchem as well as machinery within the year. Look out for the breeder pages in the next few weeks for all the latest news.
