Happy New Year
Hi all, firstly Happy New Year to you all. I hope you all had a really great festive season & Santa brought all the presents that you wanted. My Christmas and New Years was really nice, very relaxing and chilled. We shut up the office on Friday 20th & returned this morning (6th Jan), so a nice long break. To be honest I’m quite happy to be back in the office now, there’s only so many Storage Hunters & Big Bang Theories you can watch before you get bored and we won’t even talk about the cricket! That was a waste of time!!
Over Christmas my brother asked his girlfriend to marry him and for some reason unbeknown to me she said yes. So in the summer of 2015 there will be the first wedding of my siblings, he’s actually asked me to be best man so I’m pretty excited about that, my chance to embarrass him in front of his mates! On the downside I’m already getting the “When are you going to get married” comments from my mother!
So with January always comes the time to look at your life & reflect on were you’re heading & your plans for the next year. In my personal life I’m pretty happy and everything is going well, I’m healthy, I’ve got a great family and really good friends, I do feel lucky compared to a lot of people out there. In my working life I still really believe that Farmers Review is a fantastic idea and I appeal to you guys to help as much as you can. I really appreciate the advice & assistance from you guys, all your ideas are taken on board & in many cases added to the website. We are always trying to improve the website. I think the blogging side of Farmers Review is fantastic and really successful, but I would really like to see the reviews side of Farmers Review increase. So far this has been pretty slow, I know you guys all have really interesting opinions on various products that we have on the website and I would be forever grateful if you could take the time to leave a review or 2 (or 3 or 5 or 10!!). This is going to be a really important year for us, very much a make or break year and for us to survive we need to increase our membership, impressions & reviews. Unfortunately a website like Farmers Review is not cheap to run, therefore we need members & website impressions to encourage advertisers. So again I appeal to you to help spread the word of Farmers Review to your friends, colleagues & peers.
Right, appeals over…Going back to January & New Years resolutions, I was attempting to have a dry month, well I lasted 4 days…Whoops!! I am also attempting to eat healthier, so I’ve started today with porridge & fruit, wonder if I can last the week. Hope all your New Years Resolutions will last longer!
Anyways, think that’s about it from me for now. Hope you’ve enjoyed this read, will put something together for the end of the month.
Oh yeah, I will be heading to Lamma towards the end of the month, if anyone is interested in meeting up for a pint (see a dry January was never going to happen!) or a salad (like that’s going to happen!) please drop me an email on
Cheers all
Ashleigh
