Hello everyone, hope you’re all well. Thought it was about time for me to write another blog of my own instead of pestering our #teamblog for new ones!

So, I’m touching wood whilst saying this but could this finally be the start of the summer, that strange yellow thing in the sky seems to showering us in rays of light and there doesn’t seem to be any of the wet stuff falling from the sky. I hope this is the case as my cricket season has just started and we’ve already had one game washed out due to the rain!

Over the past two months a lot has been going behind the scenes at Farmers Review. We have added a large number of products to the machinery section as well as few other products that have been requested by both members and manufacturers. We’re still really eager for your reviews so if you find a bit of spare time please post a few reviews on the products that you use on farm. Having these reviews will really help us to grow and the site will become more and more useful for your peers in their decision making.

We have also been working on a responsive website; a responsive website means that we have managed to replicate the desktop website on mobile phones & tablets. This was not an easy job and took a lot longer than planned but we are happy with the result. We hope that you guys are as well.

We’ve also just signed a contract with Farming Online, whom we will be working very closely with. Farming Online will be sending out newsletters on our behalf to their huge database of contacts. We hope this will attract more members and more reviews.

Next week I will be attending Grassland & Muck with one of my colleagues. We are hoping to visit as many people as possible and spread the good name of Farmers Review! We are also going to attend Cereals in June and we are hoping to be present on a couple of machinery stands to meet the manufacturers customers and to post reviews with them. I’m not 100% sure where we will be yet but rest assured I will let you know all about it when I do. Fingers crossed for good weather!

Last bit of business talk – There’s still lots of advertising & sponsorship opportunities available on Farmers Review from display advertising to product sponsorship. Personally, I am very well. I had a very successful hockey season where my team went through the whole year undefeated, smashing the league and gaining promotion to the dizzy heights of Division 3NE of the East Hockey League! At home, we have just had a couple of Jacobs lambs born, they’re pretty cute as you can see. And as mentioned above I’m now well into my cricket season which I’m hoping will be as fruitful as the hockey season!
