  REVIEW:

  Was looking to replace Tipple with a variety which could go north if I needed it too, Concerto seemed like a logical variety with it brewing and distilling. Was pleased to get any seed as neighbour had to use imported stuff he couldn't name. Yielded as well as Propino and have made spec - just a shame there are no premiums ! Will grow again

  Bold grain, yields well.

  REVIEW:

  Have grown Concerto for a couple of years for malt and it has always yielded well, managed to hang onto quality (compared to Tipple) longer and also produced a surprisingly larger grain size - hvst '12 giving retentions of 90%+ whereas Tipple grown on same soil and same inputs giving retentions in the mid - high 70's - quite a difference! Just wish it would export off the south coast!

  Not being able to grow malting quality, we go for yield. Concerto has performed well at this over the last 3 years of gowing it. Standing power at higher N rates is also paramount and it delivers he
