for those of you who like growing alchemy look at cougar, it is Alchemy + 10% yield + OWBM resistance, though can be a bit low on bushel weight if not well managed.

Breeder Comments

Cougar is a very high yielding soft Group 4 candidate variety. It has had consistently high yields across two very different trialling seasons and looks to perform well in the second wheat position.

Growth Habits

Cougar is a variety that is relatively quick to GS 31, but late maturing. The long grain fill period gives its high yield. Short stiff straw, excellent disease resistance especially to Septoria and the rusts. It also has OWBM resistance. Weaknesses are eyespot, fusarium and inheritantly low spec weight and HF
