NFC Tipple is the number one spring malting barley in England, it is high yielding with full IBD approval for brewing. NFC Tipple has produced excellent yields across all regions of the UK, demonstrating that it is a very consistent variety to grow.

NFC Tipple has excellent resistance to mildew and brown rust, however a managed fungicide programme is recommended. NFC Tipple is a relatively short and very stiff variety with excellent resistance to lodging and brackling. NFC Tipple has similar maturity to Optic.
