grow this variety as second wheat where it performs very well
have acheived a reasonable premium over feed for last 3 seasons - has no major disease weakness - standing power is good despite it being a tall variety - only complaint is it doesnt tiller very well, always roll variety to get it to tiller pre GS30

Not as good as advertised

REVIEW:

Grew this on recommendation of grain traders who like the protein content.

Looked very, very well whilst growing but when it came to harvesting... Oh dear! It would not die after Glyphosate and after being left for several weeks afterward (Late Sept) we could not get the moisture below 17%.

When we did get the combine in, it would not thrash nicely and made a dirty sample

Maybe i'm being unfair as last year was a nightmare but other varieties on the farm weren't a problem, and won't be growing it again

Panorama is a fully HGCA Recommended, nabim Group 2 bread-making variety.

PANORAMA has very high treated and untreated yields with good lodging resistance and very good resistance to the main foliar diseases, particularly yellow rust.

Panorama has an excellent specific weight and a good Hagberg falling number. It has very stiff straw, very good grain quality and performs very well as a first or second wheat.
