Used the Roundup Pro Biactive for desiccation. Had no problems at all with tank mixing etc. It works very well and has a good kill rate and seems very effective. Chemically this product is very good. However it falls down a little when we come to talk about packaging. As usual with Glyphosate it comes in heavy to handle 20 litre cans, however on balance I understand that the can size is necessary as I wouldn't want to be pouring twice as many cans at half the size.

My biggest issue with these cans is the No-Glug feature on them, which is a hole within the neck of the can running through the handle, and works very well actually. However it creates two key issues when cleaning the cans out. The first of these is that the hole in the neck of the can has added more plastic to the neck making it longer. This means that as is usual with the Glyphosate cans from Monsanto you have to angle the cans on to the washer jet, with the No-Glug feature the neck of the can is made slightly narrower and longer, which makes gaining a good angle for washing very difficult indeed. The second problem with the No-Glug feature is that the hole through the handle doesn't seem to get enough water flow through it to properly rinse it out, potentially leaving chemical in the can.

Having said this the No-Glug feature is useful and does work very well enabling faster pouring of the cans, which as we all know as sprayer operators can make a lot of difference. I just think that maybe a little more research into the design and use of cans in general to aid the operator from the industry as a whole would be good.
