    A Very Good Feed Variety.

    REVIEW:

    After three years with this variety, I am very impressed. It is grown for a local mill to 'Pearl' and has never failed to make the specification. It is easy to grow and has no major weaknesses, yields extremely well (on a par with winter varieties, which it outyielded in 2012) Harvest coincides with wheat and would not really be early enough as an entry to OSR.
    It produces a large volume of good quality straw and stands well with no 'brackling'.
    It benefits from early drilling (February) and is not affected by adverse weather at emergence which is common here in N. England.
