  REVIEW:

  Found a number of Orkney farmers growing Westminster - incongruous name for up there. They need the straw, have huge winds and very late season. My visit was first week January, and combines were still out and being used. Propcorn was the answer to 28+% moisture.

  Always performed, shame the market didn't get behind it

  REVIEW:

  Haven't grown it for several years but it always yielded well and provided great grain size and spec wt. Also retained germs well when late cut in the season. Did have a lot of straw, although never went down despite minimal growth regs. Would be a huge asset to a livestock system. Stopped growing it when the market became more limited.
