Grafton has precisely the characteristics needed for early wheat drilling. One of the slowest varieties to develop with short stiff straw and with an exceptional eyespot resistance it can be drilled early.
Grafton will spread workloads with little risk of the variety being damaged by frost or becoming over- proud and unmanageable. Grafton is as easy as Cordiale and will be one of the first to harvest. This allows for a timely oilseed rape entry or an opportunity creating a stale seedbed.
