KWS Willow is a high yielding Group 2 bread making `alternative` wheat, offering growers the potential to capture attractive bread making premiums across a wide window of late season sowing dates.
Suitable from sowing from late October right though to mid- April, KWS Willow (110% of controls) sown in the late autumn, will invariably give higher yields than an equivalent winter wheat sown at the same time, from spring sowing, KWS Willow provides high yields and maintains very high grain quality, ensuring access to the premium bread making markets, even from April sowings. Commercial experience has shown that the variety will deliver specific weights and proteins comparable with some of the best group 2 wheat’s in both sowing slots.
