Rose is a maple pea slightly larger than Minerva but with a dimpled shape similar to Racer. As such, Rose has only limited acceptance by the pigeon mix packers
The yield and agronomic features of Rose means it is well suited for a forage role either sown alone or with barley which makes a particularly good companion
Rose offers a valuable combination of top protein yields and highly digestible energy suited to feeding a large range of stock Rose also offers the opportunity to establish under sown grass as Rose does not have the same smothering effect associated with full leaved maple varieties
